Dr. ir. Jos Uiterwijk (b. 1954) is chairman of the Maastricht chess club MSV-VSM. He is an associate professor who researches computer games at the University of Maastricht. With the increased presence of computers, information analysts use board games as an experimental garden for artificial intelligence.
On Wednesday evening 16 November Uiterwijk delivers a lecture on digital developments since Euwe’s time as part of the “Digital Month” series organised by the Amsterdam public library.
